N1308. APPEAL BY PARTY NOT PRESENT AT HEARING
If a party who was not present at a hearing before a Board of Arbitration appeals the
decision of the Board of Arbitration, the non-appealing party may petition for reasonable counsel
fees and expenses for the arbitration proceeding. The court may award said fees and expenses
unless the absence was for good cause. An award of said fees and expenses shall be paid within
thirty days of the order; in default thereof, the court may impose sanctions.
EFFECTIVE AUGUST 1, 2003
